April 10, 2011 Thai Delegation visits schools, sugar farm, and dinner with Mali's host family.

Visit to C. P. Smith School was timed perfectly. Mali was preparing her dance students for their performance in a few days. Mali's Director, Brother Vinai, joined in the dance.

Later that evening, Mali cooked a traditional Thai meal for her guests and her host family. Friends Carole and Phil joined us, and the subject was schools -- in Burlington and in Thailand. Our Thai guests were quite surprised to learn that students at Burlington High School speak 30 different languages!

Dana joins us for dinner.

Dana came by for dinner, and it was wonderful to see her. Mali worked with Dana in her art classroom at Flynn School during first semester last year. We learned that Dana has been to Thailand! Mali cooked a specialty of shrimp, red pepper and greens.
